How should we decide what is right, what we owe to others, and how we ought to live together? This course examines these questions through a range of religious and secular ethical traditions, exploring how different frameworks understand responsibility, justice, human flourishing, and the good life. Particular attention will be given to the relationship between ethical reflection and everyday practice: how we spend our time and resources, what we consume, how we treat others, and how individual choices connect with larger communities and systems.
